Education and Spiritual Growth Ministry Team

This Ministry Team shall have responsibility for the children, youth and adult Christian learning programs.

Some of the responsibilities of this group are:

• Sunday school classes (adult and children and youth); setting curriculum, obtaining teachers, evaluating programs, etc.
• Library
• Children and youth choirs
• Nursery
• Acolyte training program
• Weekday study programs
• Prayer ministries
• Youth ministries/groups
• Confirmation
• College student educational programs
• Communicating and marketing programs
• Recognition programs for children and youth
• Recommend annual budget needs and monitor approved budget

This Ministry Team should meet often and regularly throughout the year. It probably should delegate some of the activities to individuals or sub-groups and monitor their progress. At the beginning of the year the team should develop a plan of activities with calendar dates and make it available to Consistory. Consistory will also refer items to the team that it would like to have addressed.

An annual report is expected in April of each and periodic reports should be made throughout the year to Consistory.
