Faith Church now offers a new form of worship: a weekly service of Meditation and Vespers. This short, beautiful service consists of songs, hymns, readings, responsive prayers, and silent meditation, combining elements of modern Taize worship with the ancient service of vespers, or "evening prayer."
In the context of Arts Ministry, this widely-accessible worship experience will perform two functions. For our congregation, it is an opportunity to expand our horizons of worship, prayer, contemplation and song. For the purpose of outreach, it is a wonderful opportunity to further open our doors to the students of Penn State, and to the larger State College community.
